The hottest start

Hi followers 👋,

This morning, I went up to the tennis courts with my mum. It was excellent! First I started with my leg stretches and my arm stretches. Then I moved onto the warm up. This will get you ready to do the hitting. 



Soon after, my mum got the ball machine ready for me and I started hitting forehands.

I found it a bit tricky at first because I had to:
  • Take the racket back with your right hand at the bottom and your left hand at the throat of the racket 
  • Carefully drop the racket with the end of the racket pointing forwards.
  • Loosen your wrist and throw the racket over you shoulder 
WHACK, BOOM, SMASH!
 
Some balls went up. Some balls went down. 

After a while, I felt a bit bored so mum put some exercise music on (by Taylor Swift). Now, as you should stay fit, you should have a little bit of energy, so it is always good to take a snack along with you like a protein bar. Mum gave me an energy bar (also good to have). 

It might seem hard to do a single handed backhand, but nothing stops me from doing one 💪! My brother and sister always practice single handed backhands so I thought, 'maybe it would be a good idea if I tried a single handed backhand?' So before long, I was hitting some not-so-good backhands. Balls had been thrown in the air and even some of them were going across the courts. Although, some of them were PERFECT 👍! 

Then we set off home.
